Video: Pies Thrown at Burlington Labs!

You may have heard about our December 18 event where we threw pies in the face of addiction. (If not, here's an explanation of why we threw pies in the first place!)

More than a dozen employees at our Burlington, VT headquarters – including the company CEO, CFO, COO and Chief Medical Officer – signed up to get “pied” to help wipe out the stigma associated with drug and alcohol addiction. Employees at three of our Patient Service Centers also got in on the action!

Of course, we know you want to see video, and we will oblige! (Link opens up a YouTube video in a new window.) We considered charging a $5 donation to view this page – since the challenge raises money for the Stacie Mathewson Foundation, an organization that works to reduce the stigma associated with substance use disorders. But we’ll forego the firewall and will just encourage you to consider making a contribution on your own.

In the meantime, enjoy this taste of the fun we had on Friday! And if you’d like us to throw a pie-in-the-face challenge your way, reach out and let us know! We have already challenged the Catamount Recovery Program at the University of Vermont, and their students will be taking up pies when they return from holiday break in January.

Let’s keep the pies flying in the face of addiction!
