Giving the gift of summertime fun

Every kid should get to enjoy summertime in Vermont. That’s why in May, Burlington Labs choose Boys & Girls Club of Burlington’s “Send a Kid to Camp” as the recipient of our monthly “Dress Down Day” charitable gift. “Dress Down Day” gives our employees the opportunity to give a small donation for the benefit of wearing jeans to work. In May, we are thrilled to report that through this giving, employees raised $1,000 – enough to one lucky child to camp for the entire summer!

Summer camp at the Boys & Girls Club of Burlington is a safe place for kids with caring mentors, swim lessons, healthy food, outdoor exploration and all the things that make summer so important.  At Burlington Labs, we believe supporting those in our community is a vital piece of our mission.  Giving a child the opportunity to be a part of these exciting activities during the summer months can have lasting effects for them and our community.
