Drug Trivia: Alcohol During Pregnancy
Question: According to the CDC, what is the prevalence of any alcohol use in pregnant women?
According to the 2011-2013 CDC Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System (BRFSS), 1 in 10 pregnant women report alcohol use, as defined by at least one drink of any alcoholic beverage in the past 30 days. This compares to an average of 54% of nonpregnant women of childbearing age.
