Adopting Families for the Holidays

As we count down the final days until Christmas -- when it can be tempting to let the stress of the season overpower its joy – we wanted to offer a heartwarming twist on the “holiday shopping list.”

This month, Burlington Labs employees in Vermont, Maine and Kentucky reached out to local organizations for holiday wish lists from families in need. Then, we went shopping!

Dozens of staff from our Vermont headquarters and Patient Service Centers chipped in to deliver Christmas in a really big way for a family of seven in Burlington.

While the best things in life – including, and especially, during the holidays – aren’t “things” at all, it’s pretty inspiring to look at these piles of presents and know that a group of individuals who each chip in just a little giving spirit can make a huge amount of magic appear under a needy family’s Christmas tree.

Happy Holidays!
